Our teachers and staff receive monthly appreciation events, all supported by our generous PTA families.
Monthly Hospitality & Appreciation
Each year, we provide monthly hospitality offerings to our wonderful staff, including breakfasts, lunches, snack bars, and more.
We also offer other teacher-focused support throughout the year. Here are a few from last year:
Staff Fall Market – PTA sponsored a Fall Staff Farmer’s Market the week before Thanksgiving, where staff could “shop” for their own family meals. The produce provided was all sourced from local farmers.
Yoga for Staff – we helped cover the cost of a bi-monthly yoga class offered to our staff on Mondays to help support their overall wellness.
General School Support – the PTA provides funds for many areas of the school. In 2022-2023, we supported Enrichment Programs and Educational Supplies (35%), Instructional materials (35%), Teacher Lounge Upgrade (25%), Digital Sign Maintenance (5%).
Encore Teachers Support – Guidance purchased games and activities, as well as books and workbooks. Library purchased prizes for the reading program, and books for the library. PE purchased megaphones, and games for Field Day. Music purchased music equipment and classroom supplies, and Art used the money for wall art in the Art Room.
Staff Appreciation Week – The 2022-2023 year culminated in an extra special Staff Appreciation week, which could not have been done without the support from our generous families.
